Sam's 1st Birthday Party!

Today Samuel had his 1st birthday party! We had lots of family over for burgers, hot dogs, cake & ice cream. Since Samuel LOVES Maisy, we went with a Maisy theme. Jessica was nice enough to come over last night & help with the decor. Ose & Pa made the awesome banner, which Sam is still ooohhhing over. They also brought over some homemade macaroni & cheese, as well as some chocolate chip cookies made by a sweet lady from our church...Sam had alot of fun digging into his cake, having an ice cream cone, eating as much candy as humanly possible, & opening his gifts...He also enjoyed playing with Jacob, as well as chasing Abby (Aunt Linda's dog) around...We were especially glad that Grandma Grose was able to come, since she had just literally gotten out of the hospital! Samuel got lots of presents, including books, CD/DVDs, some clothes, & toys. The whole day was full of fun & laughter...Sam says thank you to everyone for coming and for bringing the gifts...He also says he loves birthdays and is looking forward to next year!!!
