Samuel woke up last night around 11pm with a little cold, which doesn't sound like that big of a medical emergency, but it is NOT fun to deal with. He didn't sleep well last night, & woke up early (of course), & wasn't in a good mood when he woke up. By noon or so, we had played with every toy he has, read every book, watched every Maisy movie/DVD, & even taken rides around the house in his new car. Did I mention that it was raining out? Luckily, Ose called, & was happy to let us come over to play in her Grandkids room. So, once there, surrounded by all the new, different toys, what does Samuel want to do? Watch Maisy, of course! Ultimately, Ose & I thought that he might want to go for a long car ride & get in a good nap, so we decided to make the trip into HS to run a quick errand. However, Samuel didn't fall asleep until we were a few minutes from home on our return trip. Ose was nice enough to stay & rock Samuel for the next 45 minutes, so I could finish some chores around the house. Since Sam was still a little cranky when he woke up, Ose decided to take him for a walk around the block while it was still raining. Now that's a dedicated Ose!!!
