Happy Birthday Pa!!! Unfortunately, Pa is Sam's only grandpa, so he has to do the "work" of 2 men. Sam keeps him hopping with all of his requests & ideas. They do lots of things together, like reading books, playing games, napping, snacking, & driving around in the car. Luckily, Pa only lives about 3 miles from Sam, so he can drop in for a quick vist on his way home from work. Pa likes to hang out with Sam all by himself, & will even deal with the dirty diapers. He helped put together the Mother's Day ceremony at our church, & serenaded Sam with Adam.....They were singing "I'm in the Lord's Army", one of Sam's favorites. Pa is doing his best to encourage Sam to be a Cardinal fan, & plans to take Jacob & Sam to a game next year. Sam loves being with Pa, & will reach for him when he is scared or hurt. He says that Pa is the best grandfather ever, and he loves his Pa very much!!!
